The Friends of Crystal Palace Park run the park’s information centre, an art gallery based in the red phone box outside the centre, and the Secret Garden – a conservation area in the park with a pond.

Friends of Crystal Palace Dinosaurs, a registered charity, aims to promote long-term conservation of the Dinosaurs and the larger geological site, to ensure the dinosaurs can be enjoyed by future generations. From the Dino Bridge, to schools engagement and Dinosaur Monitor, FCPD volunteers work hard to create imaginative, inclusive, and fun projects for all to enjoy.

A registered charity, run by volunteers, the Crystal Palace Foundation (CPF) is a leading authority on the Crystal Palace. It aims to keep alive the memory of the Crystal Palace and its major role in the story and social development of Victorian and Edwardian England.
The CPF promotes research and education on the Crystal Palace and the archaeological excavation and conservation of historic parts of Crystal Palace Park and produces a number of publications and DVDs, and organises events.

The Museum is entirely run by volunteers, so they depend on local people giving a small commitment of time. If you are interested in becoming a museum steward please read more about this opportunity on the museum website.
The Friends of Crystal Palace Subway are a constituted community group who have coordinated a community-led initiative to make access to Crystal Palace Subway safer and to open it for community use. If you are interested in hiring the Subway for an event once the restoration is complete, please email the Crystal Palace Park Trust events team.
The Friends of Crystal Palace Skatepark is a voluntary association helping to:
• Maintain and promote the skatepark
• Organise lessons, jams and other events
• Liaise with Crystal Palace Park and local community

In 2018 a group of local volunteers set about raising awareness of Crystal Palace Bowl and finding a viable and sustainable future use for the stage structure. In 2021 the group teamed up with Crystal Palace Park Trust to run the enormously successful #BackTheBowl crowdfunding campaign, which raised funds for a new stage, reigniting this much-loved venue. The intention now is to use the venue as a diverse cultural and community space, with live music playing an important part and to tell its remarkable story.
