Announcing a Sunday afternoon concert series making use of the recently restored historic Concert Platform, with free music for all!

As part of Crystal Palace Park Trust's ongoing commitment to providing a range of free to access events and acivities, we've programmed a series of free Autumn concerts for the Concert Platform, highlighting local talent and providing a range of sounds for Autumn Sundays.

Making use of the Concert Platform's glorious stage, why not pop along and lose yourself in the music for a Sunday afternoon. The Concert Platform's facilities and the popular Concert Café will also be open.

The Crystal Palace Bowl and Concert Platform is a historic site in the North of the Park with a rich heritage in live music performances.

The venue has been renewed in recent years with support from the Mayor of London, Backstage Trust and the Back The Bowl community campaign.

8 Oct, 15:00 to 17:00 - Crystal Palace Band

One of London's top brass bands and a local favourite, who played on the Concert Platform recently as part of our Garden Party celebration. Join the Crystal Palace Band in the Park again for some brass band favourites. Find out more about them on their website

15 Oct, 14:00 to 15:30 - Palace Acapella

A friendly community choir based in Crystal Palace. Palace Acapella believes in singing for health and happiness and the importance of the social space which the choir provides. Find out more about them at their website.

22 Oct, 14:00 to 15:00 - Brixton Chamber Orchestra

Brixton's own orchestra - a product of local talent and the unique blend of creative energy and cultural diversity which characterises the area. As a registered charity, they take on numerous projects but are most commonly seen performing in the market, pubs, clubs, parks, churches & community centres all over Brixton. More info here

29 Oct, 14:00 - 16:00 - Swimmers Jackson and friends

Swimmers Jackson is a Dublin born musician who lives in Crystal Palace. His music has been featured on BBC 6 Music this year and he's toured across the UK and Ireland with the likes of David Kitt, Jinx Lennon and Kíla. He'll be joined by friends James C. Lyons and multi-instrumentalist Chris Anderson on drums. Visit his bandcamp for more info

Halloween comes from the old Celtic festival of Samhain, so for the last in the Autumn season of events, we've gathered four of the best Irish céilí musicians around, led by James Patrick Gavin, to provide an afternoon of traditional and contemporary celtic inspired sounds.
