The original “Garden Party” series of concerts in the Crystal Palace Bowl began in 1971, established by Harvey Goldsmith (later famed for staging Live Aid), who spotted the potential for bringing the burgeoning new music festival format to the park.
This one-day festival is designed for local London residents and families to come together and enjoy the varied and eclectic talent of the remarkable community, all in one of London’s best green spaces. The Concert Platform will host a range of live performances and activities including yoga and dancing.
There will be food and drink from small producers and street-food traders, and areas where you can picnic. It’s the perfect occasion to relax, find our more about the Trust, take a guided tour of the park, meet its wonderfully diverse volunteer and interest groups, and enjoy some fantastic local talent.
