We have our own map of places in the park using Google Maps, over and above those generically. Google Maps links in Webflow have a strict format to work.
Maps
A shared Google account “CPPT Maps” has been set up in order to create maps that we can use in the website and elsewhere. Sign in to the Google account with the name crystalpalaceparktrustmaps@gmail.com and password: V1ncentF199!n5 then navigate to the Google “Maps” app, then choose “Maps” from the “Saved” list, and take the “Open My Maps” link.

Create your map in My Maps (further information can be found in Google’s generic online guides) and click “Preview” (don’t “Share” yet):

Then from the Preview page, click “Share” then ”Embed on my site”:

Copy the HTML code, BUT before pasting into a specified CMS Google Maps field in Webflow, remove iframe tags: <iframe src=" from the start of the embed code and ></iframe> from end. In the example above, the code we need is therefore: https://www.google.com/maps/d/embed?mid=17naqG9X3T26CJn2RLO6qhEUo1vFUW3g&hl=en&ehbc=2E312F" width="640" height="480"
Don’t forget to add the location to the map by clicking “+Add to map” in the location dialogue box, and name and save your map to the My Maps collection.

Google maps in our website can have useful captions, which are added in the field below the map code in the website CMS.
Once you have added a map via the CMS, please check that it is functioning properly after you have published that content. If it doesn’t show, you have probably inserted the wrong code.
